Huge congratulations to Gordon Murray of Inverurie, who has won a free electric vehicle charger after becoming i-Protech’s 1,000th EV charger install customer.
The retired company director will soon be the proud owner of his first Audi EV, so the prize couldn’t have come at a better time.
Gordon initially contacted i-Protech following a recommendation by a friend.
“I was told that i-Protech was a reliable, professional and local installer, so I got in touch regarding an EV wall charger installation,” he said.
“At my initial meeting with Electrical Manager Mike Cruickshank, he mentioned in passing that there was a promotion, but I didn’t give it much thought. Little did I know that a couple of weeks later when I placed my order, I would be the lucky winner. I was absolutely delighted, as you can imagine.”
Gordon, who worked in the IT industry for 35 years providing consultancy and services to businesses throughout the UK, is keen to improve his green credentials with the installation of solar PV panels and battery storage as a long-term investment.
“It will certainly make life easier to have a charger at the house. I think that a lot of the concerns and reluctance regarding electric vehicles should be eased for anyone who is fortunate enough to have their own driveway.
“I’m looking forward to the convenience and cost saving of charging at home.”
